Conser Quarry was started in 1946 by a Mr. John Conser. The business was later bought by George and Marian Tracer, in 1964, and has been passed down to their daughter Kathy Kling and her husband Don. Kathy’s son Trever Stroda has been a heavy equipment operator for over 20 years and grew up working at Conser Quarry. Trever can often be found offsite delivering rock or operating machinery on a construction site. Her daughter Traci Lewis, on the other hand, can be found in the office working in the financial department. This second generation family business has been in the family for 50 years. Parents, grandparents, sons and daughters are excited for Conser Quarry to be successfully run by the third generation
